After pitching our idea to a performing arts class, we managed to cast the three-piece band we wanted. But on the day of the shoot we found out that our drummer could no longer do the day we booked the dance studio, so we had to use a stand-in drummer. With help from a technical team we set up the lighting of our studio similar to that we saw in the Biffy Clyro - Bubbles music video: using both red and white filtered lights. While playing around with the lighting, we realised having the white light panning around with the static red filter gave us a look which could be linked to the narrative sequences, as the band would sometimes be in the light and others rather more in the shadows.
After reviewing the footage, we subsequentley decided to try and involve more of the band than we originally planned as we thought the shoot were brilliant.
