November 21st shoot - Night and Day endings
Getting all the cast together at once was quite hard which meant shooting on a Sunday afternoon - which produced a similar problem as before which was avoiding getting any other people or cars in shot. The night ending might have been too dark, but we have to review the footage and see if it's still useable. Otherwise the shoot went well.
November 15th shoot
CCTV shot - We were able to film from our friends house across the road from a high angle upon our hospital/home location which meant we could create a CCTV style shot. Our actor was not allowed in the home, so we had to shoot it as if he had already left the building.
Waking up in hospital bed - We filmed this in our school's medical room and out of it's reception. The only problem was it was starting to get dark outside when this part is meant to be light, so we couldn't get any footage of him out of the door.

Day shoot - 31st October
After completing a basic storyboard we decided to meet at 7am on a Sunday morning - which was the earliest time we could shoot in the light, yet still keeping the streets as scarce as possible, to make the shots as different as possible to the busy, close up night shots from the fair. We used tracking kit and tried to shoot as many different angles to keep the music video from feeling repetitive. It went well until the streets got quite alot busier, so avioding other people and cars made filming harder.

Research
I have already completed most of my research including:
-Textual anaylsis on Muse - Starlight and Eminem - White America, focusing on genre conventions and artist's motifs.
-A questionnaire in order to find out views upon music videos.
-Reading on 'Understanding popular music' to find historical and contemporay information about music videos.
-Creating two online forums. One about why Lady Gaga's so successful and the other regarding who people may think is the most important member of Oasis out of Noel and Liam Gallagher.
- Watched a documentary: 'Did video kill the radio star' - which infromed me predominantly about the introduction of music videos and then representations relating to them and the artist.

4th and 5th October
With a core idea in our minds, our group went out on both nights of the fair to capture lots of raw footage of our character chasing/being chased, lights, rides, shadows and the crowds of people. We shot the footage using a flip ultra HD video camera which was less conspicuous and also gave us the grainier look we wanted for our night, flashback footage.
